Natural stone for architects and specifiers
Everything you need to specify natural stone in one place: requirements, climate data from EPDs, technical values per stone type, standard drawings, BIM objects and stone samples. We have helped architects bring natural stone into projects for more than 40 years, from the first sketch to the finished surface.
We reply within 8 working hours, in English or Swedish.

Documentation for your specification
- Declarations of performance for every stone type, tested to European standards (EN).
- Environmental product declarations (EPD) to EN 15804 for granite, gneiss, diabase and quartzite slate.
- Product data sheets and installation instructions, with requirements according to Swedish AMA codes.
- Technical values per stone type, such as flexural strength, frost resistance, water absorption and slip resistance, on our Swedish stone pages.
Tools for design
- Standard drawings in DWG and PDF for kerbs and gate stones.
- BIM objects: Zurface was the first natural stone supplier on BIMobject.
- Paving thickness calculator based on traffic class, stone type and format.
- Moodboard: combine stone types and surfaces and download the result as a PDF.
- Stone samples: tell us about the project and the stones and surfaces you are considering.
Specify properties, not origin
In public procurement, a requirement for a specific origin usually goes against the principles of the procurement rules. Specify properties such as strength, frost resistance, surface and colour instead, and add ”or equivalent”. Compare stones within their group: hard stone, slate or the limestone group.

The Bestseller headquarters in Aarhus is the largest project the group has supplied: 12,000 m² of facade and 7,000 m² of flooring in Grigio Bottarga marble. See more in our references.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you help with specifications? Yes. We help you write requirements for stone, surface, dimensions and joints.
- Do you have climate data? Yes. Our EPDs are available, and reclaimed stone has practically no new emissions from production.
- Can reclaimed stone be used in new projects? Yes. We take care of 3,000 to 5,000 tonnes of stone a year from reconstruction projects and deliver it sorted on pallets.
- Do you deliver to the whole Nordic region? Yes. We have warehouses in Sweden, Denmark and Portugal.
Tell us about your project and we will suggest stone and send samples.
