Who we are

We have worked with natural stone for more than 40 years. The group quarries the Bornholm granites Blå Rönne, Måselykke and Helletsbakke and the gneiss Paradis in four own quarries. We have warehouses in Stockholm, Copenhagen, on Bornholm and in Portugal, and we deliver to projects throughout Sweden.

We are not tied to a single quarry. That lets us always propose the stone that suits the place best, technically, aesthetically and economically. We set the same demands on our partners as on ourselves: quality, environment and fair working conditions.

The whole chain under one roof

• Quarry: our own quarries on Bornholm and carefully selected quarries across Europe.
• Process: split, flamed, bush-hammered or polished. We give the stone the surface the place requires.
• Store and deliver: stone close to the project when it is needed.
• Advice all the way: choice of stone, Swedish AMA specifications, standard drawings and declarations of performance, from tender documents to finished place.

From quarry to product

Large primary blocks are cut from the rock with wire saws and split into smaller blocks with wedges, drills and saws. The blocks are cut to size, and the surface is dressed, tumbled, blasted, honed or treated to specification. Finished products are shipped to a nearby port and delivered by truck to the site.

The granite from Bornholm carries a craft tradition that goes back to the building of central Copenhagen. For centuries its setts have paved the streets and squares of Nordic cities.

Exclusive in Sweden

Two sought-after stones can only be bought from us in Sweden: Alta quartzite slate from northern Norway and Grigio Bottarga, an Italian marble with rust-coloured veins.

First with reuse

Stone that has lain in a street for a hundred years has at least a hundred years left. We take up kerbs and setts from streets and squares, sort and clean them and give them a new life, with product data sheets and documentation just like new stone. We were the first in Sweden to reuse natural stone and we still lead the way.
